Extraordinary opening, tuesday 24 and 31 december & Exhibition of the scale model of the museum’s expansion

 

The Bilbao Fine Arts Museum will open on an extraordinary basis during the morning hours—10 am to 2 pm—on Tuesdays 24 and 31 December (it will be closed on 25 December and 1 and 6 January).

From today until 5 January, the scale model of the museum's expansion, designed by Foster and Uriarte, will be exhibited in the museum's Chillida gallery, where it may be visited free of charge.

The museum will open on an extraordinary basis during the morning hours (10 am to 2 pm) on Tuesdays 24 and 31 December, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. It will remain closed on Christmas, New Year's Day and 6 January.

Likewise, from today until 5 January, the scale model of the museum's expansion and digital images showing the progress in the expansion project, which was unveiled by Norman Foster in the museum this week, may be visited free of charge in the Chillida gallery.
