The BBVA foundation and the museum form partnership for 4th MULTIVERSO Scholarships
The BBVA Foundation announces ten MULTIVERSO scholarships for Video Art Creation, in partnership with the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum
In recent years the BBVA Foundation has been intensely involved in supporting and disseminating video art work. It is in this framework of interest that partnership agreements have been signed with the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum for the purpose of launching the Video Art and Digital Creation Programme and for the joint promotion of MULTIVERSO scholarships for Video Art Creation.
These scholarships, designed for video artists and which the Foundation has been promoting since 2014, will now benefit from participation by the museum, which will take part in the expert review committee presided by the directors of both institutions for the selection of scholarship awardees, and in the dissemination of videos created with scholarship support.
Ten scholarships will be awarded, each worth up to 30,000 Euros for the creation of original projects, which must be produced within a maximum of one year. Applications may be submitted until 20 November. The complete terms and criteria, as well as projects completed by previous awardees, may be found on the websites of both institutions and at:
