The Art Route comes back to the museum

Early in the year, the museum, with the sponsorship of the regional government of Bizkaia and BBK, launched a travelling exhibition which stopped at almost 60 towns to share 40 high-quality reproductions of as many masterpieces from its collection. After its warm welcome by the people of Bizkaia, the Art Route is coming back to the museum to bear witness to the wealth and quality of its art collections as the finishing touches are being put on the old building and the artworks are being installed in the recently renovated galleries.

The show can now be visited outside the museum in Plaza Chillida and Plaza del Monumento Arriaga on the days when the museum has to be temporary closed to conclude the renovation and set-up the exhibition ABC. The Alphabet of the Bilbao Museum, organized to celebrate its reopening and the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum's 110 years of existence.
