The Gondra Barandiarán-Bilbao Fine Arts Museum 2023-2024 Training Scholarship Programme offers seven scholarships to young people who wish to further their training at the museum under the tutelage of its team of professionals.

With a duration of nine months -starting in October 2023- and an economic endowment of 500 euros gross per month, the selected persons will be able to acquire new skills in line with the theoretical knowledge obtained in their training stage, accompanied by professionals from different areas and departments of the museum.

In this way, and taking into account different training profiles, the scholarships offer the possibility of getting to know the work context within the different lines of work contemplated in museum management.

With this main objective in mind, the people who obtain one of the seven scholarships on offer will also be able to enrich their curriculum, update their knowledge and acquire new skills. At the same time, and in a reciprocal relationship, this initiative enriches the museum team, which has already received around 70 scholarship holders during the nine editions held to date of this programme, which reaffirms the educational mission of the Gondra Barandiarán Foundation.
