Presentation of the book “Women by themselves. Self-portraits by female artists” by Ángeles Caso

Over the course of history, numerous women have dedicated themselves to painting, some achieving complete professional recognition. The writer and art historian Ángeles Caso has undertaken a detailed research project with the aim of rescuing eighty of these artists from oblivion. The results are now brought together in this rigorous, recently published book.
