Donación de doña María de Arechavaleta, de la colección de don José Palacio

The decoration on some tsuba is also done in irregular openwork piercing, this being one of them. Made in iron, the adornments in gold, copper and other metals portray a small lizard, plants and mushrooms. In this completely original tsuba, the artist has tried to emphasize the decoration using irregular openwork and deformations on the edge.(Fernando García Gutiérrez, 2008)
