The Paper Art Programme heralds the beginning of a series of monographic exhibitions with a view to studying and presenting the public with works of art using paper as their support.

Among the works and the artists who go to form the exhibition, the following stand out: the work using a burin - Adam and Eve after being sent out of the Garden of Eden by Lucas van Leyden (1494-1533), the black pencil work - A portrait of Duca Cesarino by Ottavio Leoni (1578-1630), the work done in ink - Wounded faun healed by satire by Bartholomeus Spranger (1546-1611), the etching - Portrait of Cornelius Claesz Anslo by Rembrandt (1606-1669), the prints in pencil form - Young drawer and the bust of a young girl by François Boucher (1703-1770), the etchings with the theme of chimneys by Piranesi (1720-1778), and the splendid ink drawings of the Way of the Cross by Vicente López (1772-1850), among others.
