Exhibition schedule 2015
The Museum’s exhibition programme for 2015 opens with the largest retrospective to date on EQUIPO CRÓNICA (10.2.15 – 18.5.15).
Curated by Tomàs Llorens and on display in the Museum’s BBK Gallery, it will feature more than 150 works by this legendary Spanish art group founded in 1964 by the Valencians Rafael Solbes (1940-1981), Juan Antonio Toledo (1940-1995) and Manuel Valdés (born 1942).
Opening one month later will be THE 1950s. FASHION IN FRANCE 1947-1957 (10.3.15 – 31.8.15), an exhibition sponsored by the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia that will include more than 100 creations and accessories by celebrated designers such as Christian Dior and Balenciaga. Most belong to the Musée de la Mode Palais Galliera in Paris, where this exhibition was warmly received between July and November last year.
Finally, THE SPLENDOURS OF CÓRDOBA IN ITS FOUNDATIONS AND MUSEUMS (17.3.15 – 15.6.15), organised by the Fundación Viana (CajaSur and Diputación de Córdoba), will bring together more than 80 works by artists from the 17th to the 20th centuries, including Valdés Leal, Julio Romero de Torres and others.
