Untitled (Diptych) is unusually large compared with the rest of the artist's output, and its size reinforces the reiterative nature of the brushstrokes, giving them a greater physical and symbolic dimension. The strokes are straight, with triangular forms like arrow heads abounding, making this an incisive, cutting work with a stained-glass look about it, something that the luminosity of the colours contributes to.
