- Formal refinement, a predilection for clearer colour ranges and a restrained style are all to be found in the domestic interior The Sisters, in which Olasagasti takes an elevated viewpoint to emphasise the geometric forms of the framework and the sewing box. This work link the artist to a watered-down Cubism, which, thanks to the teachings of Vázquez Díaz, became a common feature shared by all Basque artists of his generation.
