Antonio López Films and Documentaries

To mark the Antonio López exhibition, the Museum has organized a short season of films and documentaries associated with his artistic nature. To be screened on 15/10/2011 and 22/10/2011, Víctor Erice’s famous film The Quince Sun reflects the painter’s creative process. Another work by Erice called Notes will be screened on 29/10/2011 and 05/11/2011 with Correspondence: Erice/Kiarostami, which compiles the audiovisual relation between the two film makers, and the TV programme Antonio López and Víctor Erice: A Conversation, recorded for Spanish television’s Versión Española. The TV programme The invisible half, on Antonio López’s work in Madrid’s Gran Vía, can be seen on 12/11/2011, accompanied by three documentaries on his latest sculptures: Night and Day, Atocha, The woman from Coslada and Story of a real sculpture.
